This notice explains what we do with the details you give us through this website, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email.
Who we are
We’re Swansea Rubbish Removal, and we’re the controller of your personal data. Contact us at hello@swansearubbishremoval.co.uk.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the details of the job, and any photos you send us.
Why we use it
To give you a price, arrange and carry out the job, invoice you, and keep the waste records the law requires. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing that contract, and meeting legal obligations.
Who sees it
Our own staff, and the services we use to run the business: our email and phone providers, the service that receives website enquiries, and WhatsApp if you contact us that way. We don’t sell your details or use them for marketing.
How long we keep it
If you don’t go ahead, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep job and invoice records for six years for tax purposes, and waste transfer notes for at least two years, as the law requires.
Cookies
This site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. The price form can remember an unfinished enquiry in your own browser so you don’t lose it; nothing is sent anywhere until you press send. The site’s fonts are hosted here too, so your browser doesn’t connect to Google or any other font service.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
