Student lets in Uplands, Brynmill and Sketty
Most student leases around the university end in June and July, and a lot of houses need clearing in the same few weeks: mattresses, desks, bags of clothes and kitchen stuff nobody wants to take home. If you manage HMOs, book those weeks early. We can price room by room so charges line up with each tenant’s deposit.
Your duty of care
When you pay someone to take waste away, the law says you must take reasonable steps to make sure it ends up somewhere legal. In practice that means two things: check the carrier on the Natural Resources Wales public register, and keep the waste transfer note.
It matters more in some parts of Swansea than others. Uplands recorded 427 fly-tipping incidents in 2024-25, more than any other ward in the county, and councils do trace dumped waste back to where it came from.
Belongings a tenant has left behind
Before anything a former tenant left is thrown away, make sure you’ve followed the correct process. In England and Wales, the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 sets out the notice you need to give. If you’re not sure, get advice first. Once you’re clear to go ahead, we’ll clear it.

Can you clear and clean?
We clear and sweep. We don’t do deep cleans, but we’re happy to work around your cleaner.
Do you work for housing associations and supported housing providers?
Yes. We can work to your process, with photos, transfer notes and purchase order numbers on every invoice.
Can you clear fly-tipping from my land?
Yes, on private land such as yards, car parks and gardens. Fly-tipping on roads and public land is the council’s job.
