What we take from gardens
- Branches, prunings and hedge cuttings
- Grass cuttings, leaves and weeds, bagged or loose
- Old fence panels, posts, trellis and decking
- Broken garden furniture, barbecues and parasols
- Pots, planters and old compost bins
- Trampolines, swings and climbing frames, taken apart
- Sheds and their contents (see shed and garage clearance)
Soil, turf and rubble
Heavy waste is priced by the bag rather than by space: £5 a bag, up to 40 bags on one visit. Bag it up and we’ll carry it out. For a whole patio or a big pile of loose soil, a grab lorry or skip is usually better value, and we’ll tell you so.
Back gardens with no side access
Plenty of Swansea terraces have no way round to the back except through the house. That’s fine. We put down dust sheets, carry it through and clean up after ourselves. Mention it when you send photos so we can plan the time.
Is garden waste cheaper?
Often, yes. Clean green waste costs less to tip than mixed rubbish, so a load that’s only cuttings and branches can come in under the standard price. Tell us it’s green waste only and we’ll price it that way.
For a little garden waste every week or two, your council garden waste collection is the cheapest option. We’re for the big one-off clear-outs.
Questions about garden waste removal
Do you do the gardening as well?
No, we clear what’s been cut, dug or pulled down. If a gardener or tree surgeon is doing the work, we can come and collect afterwards.
Can you take tree stumps?
If they’re out of the ground, yes. Stumps are heavy, so we price them from photos.
Do you take the bags away too?
Yes. Bags, loose cuttings and everything else go on the truck. Builder’s bags come with us unless you want to keep them.
